Susan Morrow
Director of Patient Safety and Quality
Susan Morrow joined
HSC in September, 2006 as Director of Patient Safety and Quality. She
has an undergraduate Degree in Physiotherapy from the University of
Manitoba and a Master’s Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies from Royal
Roads University in Victoria, British Columbia.
Susan previously
worked as a clinical physiotherapist for many years and as a consultant
to Worker’s Compensation Board of Manitoba and the manufacturing
industry.
At HSC, Susan is
responsible for the patient representative office, clinical risk
management, investigation of critical incidents, and quality improvement
strategies. Her areas of interest are focused on managing and creating
change in complex systems, and designing strategies to strengthen the
system capability to provide true patient-centred care.
