What is CSRP?

The Critical Services Redevelopment Project (CSRP) is an extensive initiative to enhance our ability to provide excellence in health care for patients who are critically ill or injured.

In early 2007, the Health Sciences Centre will open a new 286,000 square foot, four level building fronting on William Avenue. This facility contains state-of-the-art equipment and information systems that are among the most beneficial and complex in modern health care. It is also designed to provide greater comfort and privacy for patients and their families, and improved efficiency for staff.

For many years, HSC staff have been working to provide patient care in facilities they had long outgrown. Finally, with the new critical services building, staff will work within a space that reflects their skill and professionalism.

“… Our staff in the Adult and Pediatric Emergency Departments, Intensive Care Units and Operating Suites will finally have state-of-the-art working environments to match their own state-of-the-art skills and abilities.”
