Education and Training

The Health Sciences Centre is a training hospital along with its sister institution Saint Boniface General Hospital. The hospital has both close proximity and affiliation with the University of Manitoba collaborating with the Faculties of Medicine and of Nursing to provide university credit for advanced education.

Several other education and training programs run in several departments of the hospital for various health professions. They fall under the main headings of:

The Health Sciences Centre is committed to provide leadership in the development and dissemination of new knowledge through basic science, clinical research and health service research.
The Health Sciences Centre is also committed to promoting an attitude of critical inquiry in all our activities in order to improve patient care and health care delivery.
