Hallway Map
HSC has introduced a new signage system to help people better find their way around the hospital.
The areas of HSC that are connected to each other between William Avenue, Sherbrook Street and McDermot Avenue are identified by zones, with colours and icons (e.g. Green (owl) Zone).
Clinics in the General Hospital that have more than one activity have been given letter designations (e.g. Clinic C).
We’ve also labeled the municipal addresses of our buildings, so that you can find the entrance closest to where you need to go.
For example, if you have an appointment for a bone scan, you would go to:
700 William Avenue Entrance
Level 1 (i.e. 1st floor)
And follow the signs to:
Purple (bear) Zone
Nuclear Medicine, Clinic F
Or, if you are visiting someone on the GH-4 Inpatient Unit, you would:
Take the Green (owl) Zone elevators to Level 4
We hope this information will help you find your way. If you need help, please ask a staff member, visit the Welcome Centre at 700 William Avenue, or use one of the Information phones (signed with a ?) inside HSC, and we will direct you to your destination.
