The Health Sciences Centre Division of Laboratory Medicine and Pathology is one of the training centers for Allied Health Degree students enrolled in Medical Laboratory Sciences Program. It is here that the students receive a portion of their practical training by experiencing actual diagnostic laboratory settings.

The Cytology training program is based solely out of Health Sciences Centre. Requirements to enter the program are a Bachelor of Science Degree, previous graduation from a Registered Medical Technology Program or year one of the Bachelor of Allied Health Degree Program.
