Description:
The Section of Pediatric Endocrinology & Metabolism provides inpatient and out patient clinical services to pediatric patients with diabetes mellitus, type 1 and 2; endocrine disorders that affect growth, reproductive development, pituitary, adrenal, or thyroid gland functions; disorders of lipid metabolism; bone health and osteoporosis. The program provides clinical services for all of Manitoba as well as portions of Eastern Saskatchewan, Northwestern Ontario and Nunavut.
