Description:
The Winnipeg School Division, under the auspices of Manitoba Education and Training, provides an in hospital school program:

Monday-Friday,
9:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
Children’s Hospital
Room CH247

The purpose of the school service is to provide support for hospitalized students so that they can continue their school program in collaboration with their community schoolteachers.

Teachers are available to assist hospitalized children with academic assignments, provide resource help and emotional support in an educational setting. Bedside tutoring is also provided in the afternoons whenever students are unable to attend the hospital classroom in the morning.
