Benefitting patients at HSC
Thank you to all our valued customers for your support. Every purchase you make is a contribution to patient care at Health Sciences Centre. Since 1990, over $6 million has been donated to the centre for a variety of projects large and small. Volunteer Enterprises donated $1.1 million to the first MRI at the HSC site. Another $1.2 million is pledged to the Critical Services Redevelopment Project for a new admitting space and retail store. In 2006, our priority is to support HSC patient safety initiatives. We have set aside $100,000 for bariatric equipment including beds, chairs and lifts.
In addition to these major projects, your purchases make possible countless smaller projects including waiting room renovations, equipment purchases, patient activities, and educational material.
